Anvita Gattani is an artist who trained at NYU Tisch. She was selected the Oscar Academy’s Gold Rising Speaker and has been featured acting on HBO, NBC and Off-Broadway. They directed the award winning Dystopian Film Alone, Alone, Alone on a Wide Wide Sea which is currently showing in cities across the world. Anvita was named Minorities in Films Director's to Watch and was selected for the Rickshaw Writers Room. Anvita is the Head of Programming at Saphlicks, a film organization dedicated to amplifying Sapphic voices in the LGBTQ+ community. In Hindi, Anvita means "who bridges the gaps" and it is their mission to utilize storytelling to bridge the gaps between different groups of people.
