The Anu Simran SHG (Self-Help Group) was established in October 2024 under the Anu Saheli Project. This is a two-year CSR initiative by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), implemented in partnership with PURE India Trust. Our core aim is to develop sustainable livelihood opportunities for women from underprivileged sections living in and around Rawatbhata, Rajasthan. The enterprise currently operates out of a dedicated unit sponsored by NPCIL and actively employs over 30 women as full-time members and shareholders. We specialize in high-quality industrial wear (boiler suits, lab coats), government uniform contracts, and custom household stitching. Every product we create carries our movement's identity: "Every Stitch Empowers".
Beyond production, our facility is a dedicated training ground, ensuring a continuous pipeline of skilled, empowered women who transition from beneficiaries to equal shareholders in our enterprise.
The Anu Simran SHG currently has a significant running order book of over 6,484 institutional uniforms. Out of this, we have already completed and delivered 1,510 uniforms across nine school contracts. Our immediate order pipeline includes 100 lab coats, 16 boiler suits, and 100 contractor uniforms, with an upcoming confirmed order of 30,000 bags to further solidify our position as a reliable, large-scale supplier.
Right now, 25 women are actively enrolled in our certified training center, learning the industrial-grade stitching skills required to step directly into secure, full-time employment with the SHG.
