About Anush Nellickal

Anush Nellickal (അനുഷ് നെല്ലിക്കൽ) is a young nature enthusiast and biodiversity learner from Eswaramangalam, Ponnani, Malappuram, Kerala, India. He grew up in a family deeply connected with environmental conservation, plant nursery development, biodiversity awareness, and sustainable gardening initiatives. From an early age, Anush Nellickal has been exposed to plants, trees, butterflies, and biodiversity-rich environments through the activities of the Nellickal eco family and Nellickal Nursery® based in Ponnani, Malappuram, Kerala, India.

He is the son of environmental activist and professional nurseryman Anish Nellickal®, founder of Nellickal Nursery®, a biodiversity-focused plant nursery in Kerala. Through his father’s work in tree transplantation, butterfly gardening, ecological restoration, and plant conservation, Anush Nellickal is exposed to real-life environmental activities from an early age. His mother, Rasitha Nellickal, is a teacher and supporter of eco-awareness initiatives, and his brother, Anuraj Nellickal, is also a nature enthusiast and biodiversity observer.

Anush Nellickal is also associated with Plant Village Charitable Society (Reg. No: MPM/CA/765/2017) and Plant Aqua and Fish Conservation of India (Reg. No: MPM/CA/416/2016). These organizations focus on biodiversity conservation, plant protection, aquatic ecosystem awareness, and environmental education. The Nellickal family including Anish Nellickal®, Rasitha Nellickal, Anuraj Nellickal, and Anush Nellickal have meaningful roles in these conservation-oriented initiatives in Kerala, India.
