I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus. I completed my PhD in Mathematics at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2014. Following a brief stint as NBHM-postdoctoral fellow at BHU (2014-2015), I joined Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai (2015-2017) as postdoctoral fellow in the Computational Biology group. At IMSc, I worked with Prof. Sitabhra Sinha on network epidemic models and developed a game theoretic framework for vaccine uptake behavior. I completed another postdoc in the group of Prof. Kevin Wood at the University of Michigan (2017-2019), where I had a crack at experiments investigating cooperative antibiotic resistance in the spatially extended microbial communities.
My primary research interest is complex systems. For a complete description of my research, please visit the Research and Publications tabs of this website.
