• Swadesh defended his thesis successfully on "Understanding Mechanical Energy Harvesting Potential in Piezoelectric Lead-Free Ceramics Nanocomposites and Self-Assembled Soft Molecular Systems for Micropower Applications" April, 2025.

• CONGRATULATIONS Shreemoyee for securing 2nd prize in poster presentation in "Women in Science, Technology, and Innovations : Challenges & Prospects" in Sister Nivedita University on August 27, 2024.

• Shubhankar received his PhD thesis in 4th Annual convocation in IACS Deemed-to-be University on 31st July, 2024. CONGRATULATIONS Dr. Shubhankar Barman!

• Prof. Hirak Patra from UCL, UK visited lab in March, 2024 to discuss potential collaboration on piezo bio materials.

• December 2023- Bhargab successfully defended his open thesis colloquium on "Exploring Flexible Paper Based Thermoelectric Generators as Efficient Waste Heat Harvesters" CONGRATULATIONS!

• August 2023- Shubhankar successfully defended his open thesis colloquium on "Exploring Novel Lead-Free Lithium Niobate-Type Oxides and Donor-Acceptor Molecular Systems as Promising Ferroelectric Materials" CONGRATULATIONS!

• July 2023- Swadesh published his first authorship work on exploring piezoelectric microenergy harvesting of novel supramolecular donor-acceptor system in Chemistry of Materials.

• June 2023- Bhargab joined as a Wireless Technical Officer in West Bengal Police Telecommunication. CONGRATULATIONS!

• November 2022-Our group research presented in STREE2020 (Science Technology Research & Entrepreneurship Enhancement) by Dr. Datta on 'Energy Management' under 'Women in Environment Protection' theme got Best Presenter Award. The National Conference and Expo held in JNU, India was focused on the role of Women in Science and Technology for Sustainable Development of Atmanirbhar Bharat.   

• September 2022- Congratulations Bhargab for obtaining BEST PAPER PRESENTER AWARD IN NANOSCIENCE & NANOTECHNOOGY in IEMPHYS-22: International Conference on Advanced Physics, Organised by IEM (Institute of Engineering Management), AIP (American Institute of Physics) and UEM (University of Engineering Management). 

• August 2022- Shubhankar and Surajit published their work on exploring ferroelectricity in a novel alternating donor–acceptor supramolecular copolymer (collaborative research) in Chem. Commun., which is part of the themed collection 'Celebrating 10 years of ChemComm Emerging Investigators'

• June 2022-Shubhankar published his work on coexisiting ferroelectricity and photoconductivity from perovskite LN-ZnSnO3 in Mat.Chem.Phys. The work is important in predicting Pb-free class of ferroelectric materials for photovoltaic applications.

• April 2022-Shubhankar published his joint first authorship work on Ferroelectric (Macro) molecules (collaborative research) in Angew. Chem. Int.Ed. which is selected as a HOT PAPER.  

• January 2022- Bhargab's paper on Thermoelectric Properties of n-type NDI based ampiphile (collaborative research) in ChemNanoMat is selected as special collection highlighting 'Materials Chemistry in India'. 

• January 2022-Shubhankar and Bhargab got their first authroship papers in Chem. Sci. and ChemNanoMat on their work on organic ferroelectrics and n-type organic thermoelectric materials, respectively.
