1. Share this year's Nominated Books by reading them with keiki in grades K-3. Feel free to use our Ānuenue resources on our 2026 Nominees page, including the 2026 Nominees Shelf Display flyer to build excitement and awareness. The 2026 Nominated Books Flyer is a great way to share information about the award and provides easy access to this website!
2. Collect and submit keiki votes due by Sunday, March 15, 2026. Librarians and teachers, you can collect keiki votes and submit totals on the Group Votes Form. Printable ballots are available below. Or, individual students may vote online using the Single Vote Form.
3. Announce the winner with your readers when results are shared on our website in April 2026!
