Hi, I'm Anubhav Mukherjee. I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Princeton University. My office is Fine Hall, Room-1202. Feel free to drop by if the door is open. My research is partially supported by NSF std grant- Smooth Isotopy, Gauge Theory and Contact Geometry DMS 2405270.
Email- anubhavmaths@princeton.edu
Before this, I was an Instructor at Princeton University (mentor- Prof. Peter Ozsváth). In fall 2022, I was a post-doc at MSRI (mentor- Prof. Ciprian Manolescu). I obtained my PhD from Georgia Tech (summer 2022) and my advisor was Prof. John Etnyre.
I am interested in Low-dimensional Topology and Contact & Symplectic Geometry. Recently I also got very interested in differential geometry. I never say "NO" to discussing Mathematics or playing Football (soccer).
Current events-
I am Teaching Calculus II, Math 104, this fall 2024 (Mon, Wed and Fri). If you need extra help, drop by to my office Fine hall 1202. Also check the Canvas page for other details.
I am co-organizing Geometry-Topology seminar at Princeton University.
I am co-organizing the Mathematics Department Colloquium.
Previously-
I was co-organizing the Princeton Topology Conference which will be held on 27th-29th April, 2024.
I was a co-organizer of the summer school and conferences in low-dimensional topology at Princeton, in 2023. Interested people can have a look here.
Professor Cliff Taubes, Mary Stelow, and I were organizing online- "Taube's Secret Weekly Seminar" [Wednesday 7-8pm, ET] where the main theme is gauge-theory and its interaction with 3- and 4-manifolds.
P.S.- If you are an undergraduate/graduate student from India interested in doing a reading with me, feel free to email me. But please be respectful of my time.
