On 30 March 2022, a group of alumni provided this statement to the ANU leadership and requested a comprehensive update be made to all students, staff and alumni on how the university is acting to end sexual harassment and sexual assault.

We ask for this update to be delivered by 1 August 2022: the 76th birthday of the ANU, and the fifth anniversary of the survey findings on sexual harassment and sexual assault in Australian Universities.
