About the Workshop (online mode)

These days, numerical techniques have emerged as a powerful tool for computer simulation of various complex physical problems arising in science and engineering. It may be noted that obtaining analytical solutions to many complex physical problems is almost impossible. In that case, one has to rely on numerical methods. The numerical techniques play a vital role in computer simulation of various complex physical problems of real life. The main objective of this 3-Day online workshop is to thoroughly discuss advanced numerical techniques such as finite difference methods (FDM), Higher-order Compact (HOC) Scheme, finite element methods (FEM), and finite volume methods (FVM) for solving differential equations. Also, the applications of these numerical techniques will be presented for various physical problems arising in science and engineering.
