• ANTS PART Roof Rack Cross: Its greatest strength is its specialized fitment for 2023-2026 Honda CR-V models with a slim, rustproof aluminum design that preserves vehicle aesthetics. This pick is for the owner who values style, aerodynamics, and transporting moderate loads like skis or bikes.
• Its biggest trade-off is the heavier overall build and specific requirement for raised side rails on Volkswagen Atlases. This pick is for the family needing to move substantial amounts of gear safely and securely.
• Best For: Choose the ANTS PART for the daily driver seeking minimal wind noise and a clean look; choose the KINGGERI for the utility-focused hauler prioritizing raw carrying power.
The ANTS PART Roof Rack Cross is built with a singular focus: integration. When looking at the specifications, it is clear this product was not designed to be an afterthought bolted onto a vehicle, but rather a component meant to sit flush with the roofline of the 2023 through 2026 Honda CR-V and CR-V Sport Hybrid. This design choice is critical for drivers who care about how their vehicle looks while parked at a ski lodge or a cabin. The black power-coated surface is marketed as waterproof and anti-corrosion, which suggests a longevity that can withstand the harsh salt and grime of a northern winter without looking beat up by spring.
Who should buy this? You are likely someone who owns a newer Honda CR-V and wants to transport recreational gear without sacrificing fuel efficiency or creating excessive road roar. The product features a 220-pound load capacity when evenly distributed. While this number might seem lower than some heavy-duty industrial racks, it is more than sufficient for two pairs of snowboards, a couple of bikes, or a full set of camping equipment. The adjustable width allows for a perfect fit across the side rails of your specific model year. If your primary use case involves weekend trips where you carry a few bags, a kayak, or sports equipment, this rack offers the right balance of utility and discretion.
However, there are clear reasons to skip this option. If you plan to regularly transport heavy construction materials, large water tanks, or multiple sets of bulky furniture, the 220-pound limit will restrict you. Furthermore, this rack is strictly for vehicles with existing side rails. If your vehicle has a bare roof or different rail styles, this unit will not work. The installation process requires all necessary tools, but the reliance on existing rails means it is not a universal solution. It is a premium accessory for a specific niche of owners who prioritize the aesthetic integrity of their vehicle over brute force hauling capabilities.

Designed specifically for the Volkswagen Atlas from 2017 through 2026, this rack targets a demographic that needs to move serious weight. The product is engineered to handle these loads without compromising the structural integrity of the bars themselves.
Security is another pillar of this product's design. Unlike standard racks that rely on friction or simple latches, the KINGGERI system includes a metal mechanism lock system. This upgrade is intended to deter theft, a common concern when leaving expensive gear on a roof overnight. The inclusion of tie-down loops on all four brackets provides additional anchor points for securing cargo, ensuring that even under the stress of highway speeds or sudden stops, the load remains stable. For a driver navigating icy roads or mountain passes in a VW Atlas, knowing that the rack has a robust locking mechanism and reinforced tie-down points is a significant advantage.
This product is ideal for the owner of a VW Atlas who treats their vehicle as a true workhorse. Whether you are heading out for a day of snowmobiling or loading up for a family vacation, the 300-pound rating ensures you won't hit a ceiling with your gear choices. The aerodynamic design is also worth noting; despite the heavy-duty nature of the rack, the shape is intended to reduce wind resistance and noise, keeping the cabin quiet even at high speeds. However, buyers must be aware of the specific fitment requirements. This rack is explicitly designed for models with raised side rails and does not fit the Atlas Cross Sport. If you value durability and capacity over minimalism, this is the tool for you.
• Best for Winter Driving: Both units are suitable for cold weather, but the ANTS PART excels in preserving the aerodynamic profile of the Honda CR-V, reducing drag on snowy highways, while the KINGGERI offers superior stability for heavy, bulky winter loads on the larger VW Atlas.
• Anti-Theft Security: For owners worried about gear being stolen during a stop, the KINGGERI takes the lead with its dedicated metal locking mechanism, whereas the ANTS PART relies on standard installation hardware.
• Vehicle Fitment Specificity: The ANTS PART is a precision-fit component exclusively for 2023-2026 Honda CR-V models, while the KINGGERI covers a broader range of VW Atlas years from 2017 to 2026 but excludes the Cross Sport variant.
• Aerodynamics and Noise: The ANTS PART features a low-profile design optimized for stealth and minimal wind interference, while the KINGGERI uses an aerodynamic shape to mitigate noise despite its larger physical footprint.
• Cargo Securing Options: The KINGGERI includes four tie-down loops on the brackets for versatile strapping, offering more flexibility for irregularly shaped loads compared to the standard bar design of the ANTS PART.
• Material Durability: Both utilize high-quality aluminum alloy, but the KINGGERI emphasizes a metal lock mechanism and plastic brackets for added security, while the ANTS PART focuses on a black power-coated surface for rustproofing.
• Installation Ease: Both systems come with necessary tools and labeled front/back components for quick assembly, but the ANTS PART is noted for its adjustable width tailored to the specific geometry of the Honda roof rails.
The ability to lock down heavy cargo and the higher weight limit provide a level of safety and confidence that is essential when navigating snowy roads with significant equipment. In my opinion, the KINGGERI's robust locking system and tie-down loops make it the safer bet for serious winter adventures, provided your vehicle matches its specific fitment requirements.
No, the ANTS PART Roof Rack Cross requires the presence of side rails on the vehicle to function correctly and is designed specifically for 2023-2026 Honda CR-V models with existing rails.
Both products feature aerodynamic designs intended to minimize noise, but the ANTS PART's low-profile construction typically results in less wind resistance, while the KINGGERI reduces noise despite its heavier duty build.
