'If a day goes by without me doing something related to photography, it's as though I've neglected something essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to wake up.'
Robert Mapplethorpe
Since moving to Brighton in 2021, I’ve found a deep sense of belonging and purpose within the city’s queer community. My photography is rooted in connection - with people, with place, and with the power of unapologetic self-expression. I’m especially drawn to individuals who fully own their identity and presence, and I aim to reflect that boldness and beauty through my lens.
Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of working on projects that celebrate and uplift queer lives - from the first fundraising campaign for The Ledward Centre to collaborations with Leathermen South, The Big Drag Pageant, and the cover art for The Brightonians Under Siege by Daren Kay and Sarah Arnett. I’ve also worked closely with Andrew Flewitt, host of the Queer I Am podcast and author of Do You Believe In Life After Loss, capturing images that reflect their deeply personal and resonant storytelling.
My regular work includes documenting queer nightlife events such as DILF Brighton, QWERKY Drag Brunch at Bar Broadway, and Brighton Bear Weekend 2023/2025.
My images have been featured in exhibitions including Queer Beach (Brighton), Queer/in/g Nature(São Paulo), I Am Because You Are at Mid Street Lab and Artists Open House, Brighton and Hove 2025.
