SUMMARY

Antonietta Pepe received her PhD degree in Signal Processing from the Tampere University of Technology, Finland, in 2014. She is currently a post-doctoral researcher in the Neurofunctional Imaging Group at the Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases at the University of Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France. She was a post-doctoral researcher in the Methods and Computational Anatomy group at the Timone Institute of Neuroscience, Marseille, France in 2014 - 2016, and a visiting researcher in the Laboratory of Neuro Imaging, University of California, Los Angeles, USA in 2012 – 2013.

Her research interests include statistical shape analysis, shape descriptors, spectral analysis, point-to-point surface correspondence, registration and segmentation, and more in general signal, image and mesh processing especially within medical imaging applications. In her previous research activities, she has been developing automatic methods for the quantification and modeling of structural brain asymmetries, for the longitudinal shape analysis of brain development in normal and pathological conditions, and for the validation of these methods.
