I am Antonia Kurz, a postdoctoral researcher in the Climate Policy Department at DIW Berlin.
In my research, I am interested in the impacts of environmental regulation on international trade and market power, especially the heterogeneous effects across firm size and sectors.
I hold a PhD from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where I was supervised by prof. dr. Carolyn Fischer and dr. Gerard van der Meijden. I completed a MPhil in Economics at the Tinbergen Institute, a MSc in Economics at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, and a BA in Business Administration at the Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
Furthermore, I am the HR Coordinator at The Women in Economics Initiative. I support our teams through the recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers and maintain oversight of more than 60 team members.
