Hello dear Visitor!

I am Antonia Kurz, a postdoctoral researcher in the Climate Policy Department at DIW Berlin. Additionally, I am completing my PhD in the Department of Spatial Economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where I am supervised by  prof. dr. Carolyn Fischer and dr. Gerard van der Meijden. 

In my research, I am interested in the impacts of environmental regulation on international trade and market power, especially the heterogeneous effects across firm size and sectors.

I hold a MPhil  in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute, a MSc in Economics from the Universiteit van Amsterdam, and a BA in Business Administration from the Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. 

Furthermore, I am the HR Coordinator at The Women in Economics Initiative. I support our teams through the recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers and maintain oversight of more than 50 team members.
