Lights, Camera, Perth!
When I was finishing up my edit on our documentary Lights, Camera, Perth, we began work on our poster.
One of the ideas I suggested for the poster was for us to involve the clapperboard into the poster as the whole film revolves around the film industry within Perth, so I came up with the idea that our crew find a nice place to photograph the clapperboard.
once I got to see the actual images, I was in love with the framing but I hated how messed up the clapperboard looked, so I got to work on repairing it by gently polishing up parts and redoing all of the text and lines on the board to make it look fresh and new.
Debts of the Dead
I was asked by a classmate and friend of mine to help them out with designing a poster for their zombie short film that they have in production.
I was given a bundle of different photos they had taken as possibilities for their poster. But seeing as they were all either quite crooked or slightly out of focus, I decided to use my Photoshop and artist skills to construct a whole new poster frame by taking pieces from each photo and photobashing them all together into one clear image.
I then went to work on creating a more minimalistic aspect of the poster after they requested me to make one just as an experiment just in case they didn't want to go with the full photographic version. So in order to get the minimalistic version of the poster to work, I began work on trying to match the overall minimalistic colours the the ones used in the short films logo and logo background on their asset pdf file.
