As a researcher
PhD in Geophysics, about seismic monitoring on permafrost.
Working on the applicability of environmental seismology on various objects (from mountainous permafrost and rock slope instabilities, to landslides and aquifers).
Aiming at better understand physical processes in subsurface, towards tracking precursor signals to failure on natural hazards and civil engineering issues.
Combining several geophysical methods (ERT, gravimetry, GPR) with passive seismology.
Using ambient seismic noise methods (resonance frequency tracking, spectral ratios, coda wave interferometry) and numerical modeling.
Particularly interested in long-term reaction of permafrost to climate, thermo-hydro-mechanical processes and continuous monitoring on instabilities for gravitational hazards in mountainous/hazardous regions.
