PhD in Geophysics, on ambient seismic noise monitoring on alpine permafrost areas.
Working on the applicability of environmental seismology on various objects (from mountainous permafrost and rock slope instabilities, to landslides and aquifers).
Interested in a better understanding of seismic waves propagating throughout the subsurface, towards tracking precursor signals to failure on natural hazards and civil engineering issues.
Combining several geophysical methods (ERT, GPR, ...) with passive seismology.
Using various ambient seismic noise methods (resonance frequency tracking, spectral ratios, coda wave interferometry) and numerical modeling.
Particularly interested in long-term reaction of permafrost to climate, thermo-hydro-mechanical processes on Earth and continuous monitoring on instabilities for gravitational hazards in mountainous and hazardous regions.
