The following Terms of Service are given to all clients taken on by AntlerWorks. By placing any sort of payment you are subject to legally abide by these terms.
I withhold the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Threatening, violent, sexual*, rude, or otherwise unreasonable behavior will result in a one-time warning with a cancellation after the second offense. If you submit a character that is not your own, copied from someone else, or a copyrighted character (such as those from movies, TV shows, or comics), your submission will be refused.
*This does not pertain to discussions of fursuit alterations for sexual purposes.
My fursuit style is classed as toony. I do not work with realistic resin cast bases, or cast foam. I generally accept all animals to sculpt, but in a rare instance your project may be turned away if I feel I cannot properly craft it.
Customer relations will be strictly business only. WIPs and updates will be given as progress is made, but please bear in mind that I work a full time job and have several projects going at once. Small talk and constant requests for updates will be ignored as I simply do not have the time for it. If you have general questions or concerns about your commission, they will be answered as promptly as possible.
Contact will be through the client’s E-Mail and preferred choice of contact within these websites: Telegram, Twitter, or Facebook. Failure to respond between means of contact for more than one (1) month will result in the project being forfeited. For further details on forfeited projects, please see the “Dropped Projects and Refunds” clause.
In the event of my death, whether it be from illness or accidental causes, you will be contacted by a family member on my behalf. This will be through my business accounts, not from their own. Your fursuit will be refunded in full, minus the material coverage. All items involved in the making of your fursuit (furs, fabrics, finished and unfinished parts, etc) will be shipped to you at your expense.
When you fill out the quote form, you will be required to send a photo of your legal ID and a photo of yourself with it. You MUST be 18+ to purchase and go under contract. I do not work with minors or their parents, third party.
Dogs and cats live in the homes where your project may be worked on. While all animals are kept out of the work space, dander and hair may be present. My home studio also has a wax melt/candles that are frequently in use. If you are allergic to any of the listed animals, or certain smells or oils, please notify me upon contract signing.
The quote form is open for submission at any time. Quotes will take 1-2 weeks to process and your final price will be sent through your listed e-mail address. One quote is free of charge. If you are looking for multiple quotes, there will be an additional $5.00 charge per extra character. Further instructions on multiple character quotes will be written on the form. Money will be sent via PayPal and must be received before extra quotes are processed.
In order to receive a proper quote, you must provide a reference sheet.
A proper reference sheet must include the following:
-Clear image of the character
-Character species
-Full front, back, and side views
-Close-up views of any intricate markings
-Flat colors and a clear color palette (NO SHADING)
If your reference sheet does not follow any of those guidelines, your submission will be turned away.
A quote does not guarantee you a slot in the queue, nor hold you financially accountable to a costume.
I do not work with deadlines, no exceptions. All projects are given timing estimates at the time of quoting. This allows for proper quality control and a sturdy, lasting build. Large projects (heads, fullsuits, partials) are estimated to take six (6) to twelve (12) months. Small projects (bodysuits, handpaws, feetpaws, armsleeves, tails) estimated to take one (1) to three (3) months.
All payments are to be made via PayPal. No other form of payment will be accepted. You will be required to send a non-refundable 50% down payment. Your down payment ensures you a slot in the queue and covers all material costs. You will be given one week to submit this payment. If you are unable to submit payment within that time frame, your project will be dropped and the slot will be sold to someone else.
When the payment is submitted, you will be given five (5) months to pay off the rest. Your remaining payment will be evenly split across that time, with each payment being made on the same day each month. You are more than welcome to pay in full. All payments will be kept track of in a log.
As soon as your down payment has been made, materials will be discussed and ordered.
Missed payments will result in a late fee of 10% of your monthly cost. You will be given one week to cover your payment and added late fee. If you are aware you will not be able to make the payment, please discuss that with me and something can be worked out. Failure to pay will result in your project being automatically dropped.
Small parts commissions are ineligible for payment plans and must be paid up front.
A project may be dropped for several reasons.
-Your project is dropped because of contact loss. **
If you have not responded to E-Mails or messages sent via preferred contact choice, your project will be subject to forfeit and will be altered and sold as a premade costume. You will be blacklisted from future purchases, and unable to receive a refund on any payments made already. (Includes down payment and monthly payments).
-Your project is dropped because of missed payments.
In this instance, your project will be subject to forfeit, and will be altered and sold as a premade costume. You will be blacklisted from future purchases, and unable to receive a refund on any payments made already (includes down payment and monthly payments).
-You have decided to drop your project.
As stated above, your project will be forfeited, altered, and sold as a premade. You will receive a partial refund based on how much is done on your project. At this stage, I will reserve the right to blacklist you from future purchases.
-I have decided to drop your project.
If these circumstances arise, you will be given a full refund including your down payment. This is the only instance where you will receive your down payment back. Your project will again be forfeited, altered, and sold as a premade costume. I will reserve the right to blacklist you from future purchases.
I will not refund payments for any other reasons other than those stated above. Completed projects are non-refundable. If your project is completed and you drop it before final payments are made, the project will be withheld as is, and sold.
**Loss of contact is discussed in the “Customer Service and Contact” clause.
All shipping will be handled through UPS and USPS, and you are required to pay any and all shipping costs or additional feels. If you are a Northwest Ohio local, meeting in person can be arranged to hand off your suit in person. This must be done at a safe, public location during day-time hours.
When a project is finished, the client will have one (1) week to pay the shipping fee and submit the correct address. If the client fails to submit either, they will be charged a weekly storage fee of $15 until payment has been made. Failure to pay the storage fees for more than one (1) month will result in the project being forfeited, and the project subject to alterations and resale.
When your fursuit arrives home, you get a 60 day warranty period. This covers immediate faults in construction or the materials used. All repairs during this time are free of charge, but you must cover shipping both ways.
Immediate faults include:
-Popped seams
-Material falling apart after only a few uses
-Any missing or broken pieces upon opening of your project
Your warranty does not cover resulting issues from abuse towards the costume.
Abuse includes:
-Intentional rips, tears, cuts, cut seams
-Failure to follow given care instructions
-Removal of pieces
-Damaged by a third party
-Alterations without consultation done by yourself (the buyer) or a third party
Alterations to your costume are case to case. If your costume does not fit correctly, send it back and it can be fitted more properly. As long as it is within the 60 day warranty period, all alterations are free of charge. Shipping must be covered both ways.
Signs of abuse and third party alterations will void the 60 day warranty. If there are any alterations or fixes needed after the 60 day warranty, they will be discussed with you and charged accordingly.
