Legacy Awards
Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships for H.S. seniors who are the children and/or grandchildren of dues-paying Elks. The deadline for submission is February 7th.

Long Branch Elks Charity Begins at Home Scholarship
The Long Branch Elks Lodge #742 is proud to offer a scholarship specifically designed for the child/grandchild of an Elk member. Two $500.00 scholarships will be awarded to (2) qualifying students. Deadline for submission is April 12.

The Proud American Scholarship
Applicants must write a single sided, two page double spaced essay detailing why they are proud to be an American and what that means to them. Deadline for submission is April 12.

Emergency Educational Grants provide undergraduate college financial assistance to children of deceased or totally disabled Elks in the form of renewable, one-year grants of up to $5,000. The grant is for educational assistance only and is not intended to cover the entire cost of a college education.
The New Jersey State Elks Association is pleased to present its Vocational Scholarship for students who plan to attend a post-secondary school to pursue a certificate or credential in a vocational or technical program. Post-secondary schools include vocational or technical schools. Students attending a two year community college are also eligible as long as they are pursuing a certificate or credential. but not an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
The Gunther & Lee Weigel Medical School Scholarship
Gunther Weigel was a passionate member of the Elks, and his wife, Lee Weigel, established these scholarships to honor his memory.
Applications are due annually on May 15.
The Charlie Cook Memorial Scholarship For Children of Elks or Firemen
This scholarship is in memory of a man who dedicated a lifetime of service to the Elks, and the Green and White Association. This scholarship can be used for college or trade school. Deadline for submission is April 12.
