NY Metro Antiracist Coalition for Faith Ethical & Spiritual Communities

Antiracist Goals

This Anti-racism Coalition is a project initiated by the Peoples Institute for Survival and Beyond. Its purpose is to address two primary needs in religious communities:

  1. A Distinct Anti-Racist Identity: the need for tools and guidance to develop unambiguous anti-racist identities within faith, ethical, and spiritual communities that are consistent with their beliefs and traditions;

  2. A United Anti-Racist Voice: the need for anti-racist faith, ethical, and spiritual communities to coalesce with clear and powerful voice and actions to address racism in society.
