This Privacy Policy applies to the Antique Identifier & Value mobile application (referred to as the “Application”), developed by Skywork Technologies (referred to as the “Service Provider”).
The Application is available as a free service supported by advertisements, with an optional paid subscription. It is provided on an “AS IS” basis.
The Application does not require you to create an account or directly provide your name, email address, contacts or precise location.
The Application and its third-party service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including:
Your device’s Internet Protocol address
Device type, operating-system version and language
Advertising identifiers and app-instance identifiers
App interactions, session information and features used
Crash reports, diagnostics and performance information
Subscription status and purchase-related identifiers
Information about AI identification requests, such as request status, processing errors and usage frequency
This information may be used to operate the Application, process antique-identification requests, display advertisements, manage subscriptions, diagnose technical problems, prevent fraud and improve the Application’s performance and user experience.
The Application may request access to your device’s camera or selected photos so you can photograph or upload an antique, collectible or other object for identification and value estimation.
Camera and photo access may be used to:
Capture an image of an antique or collectible
Select an existing image from your device
Analyze visible characteristics of an item
Generate possible identification details
Provide general historical or descriptive information
Produce an estimated value or price range
The Application accesses only the photos you choose to capture or select, subject to the permissions and photo-selection options provided by your device.
The Service Provider does not use your antique photographs for advertising or attempt to identify individuals who may appear in an image.
You should avoid submitting images containing faces, financial documents, addresses or other unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
When you use the identification feature, the selected image and related request information may be transmitted securely to third-party cloud and artificial-intelligence services, including Firebase AI Logic and Google’s Gemini services, for processing.
These services may analyze:
The item’s visible design, markings, materials and condition
Text, signatures, stamps, labels or serial numbers visible in the image
The apparent category, style, origin or approximate age of the item
Information needed to generate identification details and estimated values
Images and prompts submitted for analysis are processed according to the applicable terms and privacy practices of the relevant service provider.
The Service Provider does not sell submitted images or use them to create advertising profiles.
AI-generated results may be incomplete, inaccurate or based only on the visible information available in the submitted image.
The Application may allow you to save identification results, item details, images, favorites or search history.
Unless a feature clearly indicates otherwise, saved items and identification history are stored locally on your device.
You may be able to view or delete saved results through the Application. Clearing the Application’s storage or uninstalling it may remove locally stored images, results and preferences, subject to your device’s backup settings.
The free version of the Application may display advertisements through Google AdMob.
Advertising providers may process information such as:
Advertising identifiers
IP address
Device and operating-system information
General app interactions
Ad impressions, clicks and performance information
Approximate location inferred from an IP address
Advertising information is processed according to the policies and consent settings provided by the relevant advertising service.
You may be able to limit personalized advertising through your Android device or Google account settings.
Images submitted for antique identification are not intentionally shared with advertising providers for ad targeting.
The Application may offer optional subscriptions or other in-app purchases through Google Play.
Payments are processed by Google Play. The Service Provider does not receive or store your complete payment-card or banking information.
The Service Provider may receive limited purchase information required to provide premium access, including:
Product or subscription identifier
Purchase token or transaction identifier
Subscription status
Trial, renewal, cancellation or expiration status
Country or region associated with the transaction
Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through your Google Play account.
The Application may use third-party services that process information under their own terms and privacy policies, including:
These providers may process submitted images, prompts, generated responses, device information, identifiers, advertising information, purchase information, diagnostics and app-usage information as necessary to provide their services.
The Service Provider does not sell or rent your personal information.
Information may be shared only:
With AI and cloud-service providers that process identification requests
With service providers that operate advertising, billing, analytics or crash-reporting functionality
When required by law, regulation, court order or legal process
To protect the rights, property or safety of users, the Service Provider or others
To detect, investigate or prevent fraud, abuse or security incidents
As part of a merger, acquisition or transfer of the Application, subject to appropriate privacy protections
Images submitted for analysis are shared only with providers needed to perform the requested identification functionality, unless disclosure is otherwise required by law.
Images, identification results and other app data stored locally remain on your device until you delete them, clear the Application’s storage or uninstall the Application.
Images and request information transmitted to third-party AI or cloud providers may be retained according to those providers’ applicable policies, service configurations and legal obligations.
Technical, advertising, diagnostic and purchase-related information may be retained by third-party providers according to their respective privacy policies and legal requirements.
Because the Application does not require an account, the Service Provider may not be able to identify or remotely delete information stored exclusively on your device.
You may:
Deny or revoke camera permission through your Android settings
Choose which photos to submit for identification
Delete saved identification results through the Application, where available
Clear the Application’s local storage
Limit personalized advertising through your device or Google account
Cancel your subscription through Google Play
Stop further information collection associated with your use of the Application by uninstalling it
Contact the Service Provider regarding privacy questions or applicable data-rights requests
Disabling camera or photo access may prevent related identification features from functioning.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to the processing of your personal information.
The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information through the Application, contact the Service Provider so the matter can be investigated and appropriate action taken.
The Service Provider uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information handled through the Application.
Images transmitted for AI analysis are sent using the security protections supported by the relevant service providers. Locally stored images and results are also subject to your device’s security, backup and storage settings.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The Application uses automated systems and artificial intelligence to provide general informational results.
The Application is not a professional appraisal service, and its identification results, historical details, authenticity assessments and estimated values may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Estimated values may vary based on condition, authenticity, provenance, rarity, location, market demand and other factors that cannot be fully determined from a photograph.
You should not rely solely on the Application when making purchasing, selling, insurance, tax, investment or legal decisions. For important or high-value items, consult a qualified antique dealer, auction house, appraiser or other appropriate professional.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes to the Application, its services or applicable legal requirements.
Any revised policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date. You are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
