Top 6 Classic Cars That You Can’t Resist Driving

Classic cars don’t just look cool, they can put the soul into a journey. Put your favorite music on and fasten your seatbelts – it’s roadrunner time. Here are my all-time favorite classic cars:

1966 Shelby 427 Cobra

Anything attached to Carroll Shelby’s name is instantly worth your time. With an incredible power-to-weight proportion the Shelby 427 Cobra has a little more giddyup than a Corolla. Moreover, the thousands of dollars you would pay for one will look like chump change in comparison to the $5.5 million shelled out for the ’66 Shelby 427 Cobra Super Snake.

1961 Jaguar E-Type:

Whether you say it Jag-u-ar or Jagwar, everybody concurs the brand oozes elegance. The E-Type was introduced in 1961 to some very heavy acknowledgement. If Enzo Ferrari referred to it as, “The most beautiful car ever made,” well, that is good enough for us.

1969 Maserati Ghibli 4.7:

The shark-shaped nose on the Maserati Ghibli is adequate to put it strongly on this list of classic cars. Moreover, the Maserati name earns it plenty of thumps. Fundamentally, this vehicle is what the Mazda Miata dreams of becoming as it falls asleep at night.

1964 Aston Martin DB5:

If it is cool enough for Mr. Bond, then it is cool enough for us. If you had to select one car that James Bond depended on mostly, you would be hard-pressed not to choose the Aston MartinDB5.

1957 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing:

The doors are only part of the reason this is one of the coolest cars to ever hit the road. The fact that the 300SL was the fastest production car at the time means driving to your meetings in Manhattan would not be tedious.

1969 Boss 429 Mustang:

You know you are acquiring some sick power when they’ve changed the body of a Mustang merely to house avery big engine. How could you not want to roll down the windows and listen to the rumble of the exhaust as you drivr around? (Which would be a good idea since since the size of the engine means no air conditioning.)
