Antique Olive is a humanist sans-serif typeface ("antique" being equivalent to sans-serif in French typographic conventions). Along the lines of Gill Sans, it was designed in the early 1960s by French typographer Roger Excoffon, an art director and former consultant to the Marseilles based Fonderie Olive.[1] In addition to a basic weight, Antique Olive was produced in medium, condensed, wide, bold, condensed bold, extra bold (known as Antique Olive Compact), and ultra bold (known as Nord).[2] The key shapes, especially the letter O, resemble an olive, which is one of the characteristics which make Excoffon's typefaces unique. It was used in the Sesame Street ending credits from 1978-1983.

One of our business partners is using a font "Antique Olive Black" in his file. He told me the font is from Adobe. I can only find "Antique Olive Std Black" in Adobe font store. I purchased it and install to our machine. However, when I open the file, "Font is Missing" warning still appears.

After compare the fonts, it seems the 2 fonts is the same but different version. "Antique Olive Black" seems to be the old version fonts. As I have purchase the "Antique Olive Std Black" license, can I install and use the version fonts "Antique Olive Black" without license issue?

My suggestion is for you to switch the font used by the document to the Std version. This may cause some text reflow, but it's by far the best long-term solution. The PostScript Type 1 font format is very old and has been deprecated by the latest major operating systems in favor of the OpenType format.

Today, my user asks me to purchase more license because they need. However, when I try to click the link again, it seems that I am re-directed to other page. Our store was the only place from where you could still purchase Type 1 licenses. The store was decommissioned this week, and our partners only carry the OpenType version of the fonts. I'm affraid to say that it's no longer possible to purchase licenses of our Type 1 fonts.

They are fully installable font files, able to be used in any software program for testing and comping purposes. They are not allowed to be used in a final project (whether personal or commercial) without purchasing a license.

I'm very new to excel macro's (about 5 hours) i am trying to create a macro in excel 2003 that can change an 8 digit number into a bar code. i have the correct bar code font and thanks to this site the macro that add's a start/end * that i needed. All that's left is to change my selection to the bar code font change the size and centre it within the box. below is what i found to add the start/end * if anyone could edit it to include a font/size change and centre i would be extremely grateful. I'm not sure of the size i need i would need to fiddle with that and the font is on a work computer so i don't have the name here but if you could put a (font name here) kinda of thing that would be great.

Have you tried "recording" a macro? .i.e. start a macro recording session, change the font you need to change, stop the record and check out the VBA editor. This should contain the lines of code you need, then adapt it to suit your needs
