Privacy Policy for AntiLoop
Effective Date: July 16, 2026
Last Updated: July 16, 2026
App Name: AntiLoop
Android Package Name: com.antiloop.app
Contact Email: antiloopsuccess@gmail.com
This Privacy Policy describes how AntiLoop (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the AntiLoop mobile application (the “App”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Who We Are
AntiLoop is a personal focus and habit-support application designed to help users interrupt unwanted digital loops, track progress, store personal motivation content, and optionally subscribe to Premium features.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, contact us at:
Email: antiloopsuccess@gmail.com
Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to information processed through:
the AntiLoop Android application;
related in-app features (including Premium subscriptions via Google Play); and
optional communications you choose to send us (such as success stories by email).
This Policy does not cover third-party websites, apps, or services that you may open through the App (for example, websites behind links you save). Those services have their own privacy policies.
Important Summary
AntiLoop is designed to keep most of your personal content on your device.
We do not require you to create an AntiLoop account to use the App.
We do not sell your personal information.
Premium subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing.
Some features request sensitive device permissions (microphone, photos/videos, overlay, installed apps, Do Not Disturb). Those features are optional where possible and used only to provide the feature you choose.
Information We Collect
4.1 Information You Provide
Depending on how you use the App, you may provide:
A. Focus / progress information
Examples: what you are working on, notes, journal-style entries, relapse or strength reflections, reading progress, and similar self-entered content.
B. Vault content you choose to save
Examples:
text notes and reminders;
links/URLs and optional custom names for those links;
photos and videos you select from your device;
voice recordings you create in “Future Me” messages;
favorite apps you designate for focus sessions;
vision-board text/images and other motivational content.
C. Optional success stories
If you choose “Share your success story,” your device email app may open a draft message to antiloopsuccess@gmail.com containing content you decide to send. That email is sent by you through your own email provider. We only receive what you voluntarily send.
D. Support / contact communications
If you email us, we receive the information you include in that message (such as your email address and message content).
4.2 Information Collected Automatically on Your Device
The App stores certain data locally on your device to operate, including:
app preferences and settings (for example theme, sound settings, premium unlock status);
progress and streak-related data;
locally saved media file paths and related metadata;
subscription product identifiers associated with Premium after a successful purchase/restore;
install or progress timestamps needed for app features.
This information is stored using on-device storage mechanisms (such as app private storage and local preferences).
4.3 Information Processed by Google Play (Subscriptions)
If you purchase or restore AntiLoop Premium, Google Play processes payment and subscription information. That may include:
purchase history and subscription status;
Google account identifiers needed by Google to complete billing;
payment method details handled by Google (we do not receive your full payment card numbers).
We may receive confirmation that a subscription is active, canceled, expired, or restored, and the associated product ID (for example monthly or yearly Premium), so the App can unlock or lock Premium features.
Please also review Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles billing data:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
4.4 Information Accessed Through Device Permissions
The App may request the following permissions. Access occurs only when the relevant feature needs it and, where required by the operating system, after you grant permission.
Internet: Load link previews you choose to save; communicate with Google Play Billing; open web links you select
Google Play Billing: Process Premium subscriptions and restores
Microphone: Record optional “Future Me” voice notes
Camera / Photos / Videos / Media files: Let you add photos and videos to Saved Media, Vision Board, and similar features
Display over other apps (overlay): Show an interruption overlay intended to help break scrolling/loop behavior
Foreground service: Keep certain focus/overlay-related functions running while active
Boot completed: Restore necessary background behavior after device restart where applicable
Vibration: Provide haptic feedback
Notification access / Do Not Disturb policy: Optional focus support by adjusting interruption settings during Vault/focus use (where you grant access)
Query installed apps: Let you pick “My Apps” / allowed apps during focus sessions
Local notifications: Deliver optional reminders (for example Future Me reminders you schedule)
We do not use these permissions to secretly monitor your phone usage for advertising.
4.5 Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
As of the effective date of this Policy, AntiLoop does not intentionally collect:
government ID numbers;
precise GPS location for tracking;
contacts lists;
advertising identifiers for third-party ad networks (the App is not built around third-party ads);
biometric templates (fingerprint/face data) as an AntiLoop identity system.
If this changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, in-app disclosures and Google Play Data safety information.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
Provide App features you request (vault content, progress tracking, reminders, overlays, focus tools, mini-games, and related functionality);
Personalize your experience (themes, saved content, progress state);
Process Premium subscriptions through Google Play and unlock/restore Premium entitlements;
Maintain and improve reliability, security, and usability of the App;
Respond to communications you send us (including optional success stories and support requests);
Comply with law and enforce our terms, safety, and integrity requirements;
Protect users, the App, and our rights against misuse, fraud, or security issues.
Legal Bases (Where Applicable)
If you are in a region that requires a legal basis for processing (for example the EEA/UK), we generally process information based on:
Contract / service delivery — to provide the App features you use;
Consent — for optional permissions and optional communications (you may withdraw consent by disabling permissions or not using those features);
Legitimate interests — to maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the App in ways that do not override your rights;
Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.
How Information Is Stored and Secured
7.1 Local storage
Most user-created AntiLoop content is stored locally on your device in the App’s private storage areas. If you uninstall the App or clear App data, locally stored content may be permanently deleted and may not be recoverable.
7.2 Security measures
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the App, including:
storing personal vault content primarily on-device;
using platform permission systems;
relying on Google Play’s secure billing infrastructure for payments.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7.3 Backups
If your device backups (for example Android backup / manufacturer cloud backup) include App data, those backups are controlled by you and your device/platform provider, not by a separate AntiLoop cloud account.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information only in these limited ways:
8.1 Service providers / platform partners
Google Play / Google — subscription purchase, restore, fraud prevention, and entitlement validation.
Your email provider — only if you choose to send a success story or contact email.
Websites you choose to open or preview — if you save or open a link, that destination site may receive standard network request data (such as IP address) according to its own policy.
8.2 Legal and safety disclosures
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required to:
comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or AntiLoop;
detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
8.3 Business transfers
If AntiLoop is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and this Policy’s principles.
8.4 With your direction
We may share information when you explicitly ask us to (for example, emailing a success story).
Optional Success Stories
Sharing a success story is completely optional.
If you share a story:
you choose what to include;
the message is sent through your own email app to antiloopsuccess@gmail.com;
you should avoid including sensitive personal data you do not want us to receive;
we may review stories for possible anonymous or first-name-only features/encouragement content inside the App;
we will not publicly feature a story in an identifying way without appropriate permission/context. If you want a story kept private, say so clearly in your email.
Children’s Privacy
AntiLoop is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App or by email, contact us at antiloopsuccess@gmail.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
If you are a parent or guardian and your child is using the App, please supervise use of microphone, media, overlay, and notification permissions.
Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing.
Because AntiLoop primarily stores your content on your device, many controls are available directly to you:
Delete local content inside the App (remove notes, media, messages, etc.);
Revoke permissions in Android Settings → Apps → AntiLoop → Permissions;
Disable overlay / DND access in system settings;
Cancel Premium in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions;
Uninstall the App or clear App storage to remove local data;
Email us at antiloopsuccess@gmail.com for requests related to information you sent us directly (for example success stories or support emails).
We will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable period and as required by law.
Subscriptions, Payments, and Cancellation
Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Google Play.
Payment is charged to your Google account.
Subscription renews unless canceled before the renewal date in Google Play subscription settings.
We do not store your full payment card details.
Restoring purchases uses Google Play to verify prior entitlements on your Google account/device.
For billing issues, start with Google Play subscription support, and you may also contact antiloopsuccess@gmail.com.
International Users
AntiLoop may be used in different countries. Because most App content stays on your device, cross-border transfers of vault content by us are limited. If you email us or use Google Play, your information may be processed in countries where Google or our email systems operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
Data Retention
On-device App data: retained until you delete it, clear App storage, or uninstall the App.
Subscription entitlement flags: retained on-device as needed to provide Premium; source of truth for paid status remains Google Play.
Emails you send us: retained as reasonably needed to review your request/story, operate the App’s community/encouragement purposes you opted into, and meet legal obligations; you may request deletion of emails we hold by contacting us.
Legal holds: we may retain information longer when required to comply with law or resolve disputes.
Third-Party Links and Content
The App may allow you to save and open third-party links, images, videos, and apps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their policies before providing them with information.
Do Not Track
The App does not currently respond to browser-style “Do Not Track” signals because it is a native mobile application and does not operate like a traditional website tracker.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. If changes are material, we may also provide an in-app notice or other reasonable notice.
Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
