Thank you for choosing to be part of our community at Anticode ("App", "we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy notice, or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us at diephuukha@gmail.com . When you use our mobile application, as the case may be (the "App") and more generally, use any of our services (the "Services", which include the App), we appreciate that you are trusting us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy notice, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it. Please read this privacy notice carefully as it will help you understand what we do with the information that we collect.
1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT? Personal Information You Disclose to Us In Short: We only collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us. We do not require you to create an account to use the App. However, certain premium features of the App may require you to connect to third-party services (such as GitHub) using a Personal Access Token (PAT). GitHub Integration: If you choose to use the source control features, you will need to provide your GitHub Personal Access Token. We do not send this token to our servers. It is stored locally and securely on your device and is only used to communicate directly with the GitHub API on your behalf. AI Assistant: The App includes an AI Coding Assistant feature. If you use this feature, the code snippets or prompts you submit are sent to a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini) for processing to return the suggested code or explanations. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy regarding their data handling practices. We do not store your code or prompts on our own servers. Information Automatically Collected In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you use our App. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our App and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our App, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in our App. AdMob may automatically collect certain device information, including your mobile advertising identifier, IP address, and location data, to provide personalized advertisements. On iOS devices, we explicitly request your permission to track this data using the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION? In Short: We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent. We use the information we collect or receive: To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the user: We may use your information to provide you with the requested service. (e.g., Using your PAT to access your GitHub repositories directly from your device, or sending your prompts to the AI for processing). To display targeted advertising: We may use your information (if you have given consent via ATT) to develop and display personalized content and advertising tailored to your interests and/or location. For data analysis: We may use your information to identify usage trends, determine the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our App, products, marketing and your experience.
3. WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE? In Short: We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. We only share and disclose your information with the following third parties: Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements (subject to your consent for personalized ads). Google Gemini API: For processing AI-related coding requests. The code and prompts you submit are sent to Google's servers for processing. GitHub API: For providing source control features. The App communicates directly with GitHub's API using your locally stored Personal Access Token.
4. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION? In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law. Since we do not collect personal accounts or store user data on our servers, any data (such as your GitHub PAT or local application settings) is stored locally on your device. This data is kept as long as you have the App installed. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App from your device. 5. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE? In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures. Any sensitive information, such as your GitHub Personal Access Token, is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this token to our servers. All communication with third-party APIs (GitHub, Google Gemini) is done securely over HTTPS directly from your device. However, please remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our App is at your own risk. You should only access the services within a secure environment.
6. POLICY FOR CHILDREN In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the App. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.

8. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
