Lunch breaks are 12:30-14:30. Below is a non-exhaustive list of places where you can find lunch nearby.
Lunch recommendations
Greenhouse cafe: sandwiches, jacket potatoes.
Pret A Manger: coffee shop, sandwiches, salads. Some limited seating.
Bold Street Cafe: good food, somewhat expensive, some seating. Excellent coffee.
Krobar: burgers and “Danish” pub grub. Lots of seating.
Brewdog: Pub food, pricey but they do have lunch deals. Lots of seating.
Sandbar: decent pizzas.
Umami: Japanese, ramen and such.
Zaytoni (take-away): falafel, shawarma.
Hatch: outdoor food market located under a motorway bridge. Lots of options, and seating available but may be chilly.

All lunch places listed above also serve dinner.
City centre (north of campus)
Rudy’s Neapolitan: excellent pizza, multiple locations. Reservations recommended.
Indian Tiffin Room: Indian street food.
Habesha: Ethiopian.
The Little Yang Sing: Chinese, dim sum.
Viet Shack: Vietnamese street food. Walk-ins only.
10 Tib Lane: Bistro with plates of varying prices.
Elnecot: meat dishes are the focus, dishes are designed to be shared.
Curry mile (south of campus)
Ziya: British-Indian food.
MyLahore: similar to Ziya, does not serve alcohol.
Chit’N’Chaat: South Indian street food. Limited seating, no alcohol.
