Important Aspect of the Toolkit:

If we want real change, we’re going to have to develop awareness and understand ourselves at a deeper level. To help serve as a catalyst for this important work, this icon will be used throughout the toolkit to signify a time to pause. There will be questions that accompany the icon to help deepen your self-reflection and skills in being an anti-racist educator.

Foundations

In order to have a meaningful anti-racist education, we must form a steady foundation to operate from.

Internal Concepts

Anti-racist education is as much about the students as it is about the educators that work with them. There is internal work to be done.

Action Plans

Exemplars of lesson plans that could be used in multiple levels of K-12 education.
