The Beginnings

The ABA was formed on January 28th, starting as a simple email sent by The Founder to a few close friends. This email, which introduced the idea of the "Anti Brainrot Association," quickly gained traction. It was forwarded across the school, sparking conversations and soon becoming the topic everyone was talking about. What began as a casual email swiftly transformed into a full-fledged movement, with students joining the cause to eliminate brainrot.

After word spread about the ABA, The Founder quickly moved to establish a leadership structure. He appointed himself as President and elected two Vice Presidents to serve alongside him. While there were multiple attempts early on to challenge The Founder's position as President, each was unsuccessful, solidifying his leadership. The ABA took roots as a real organization on January 31st, 2025, with the creation of the Official Anti Brainrot Association website.

During the summer of 2025, VP Eddy gave the website and Discord server a complete overhaul, and transferred ownership of the website, recruitment form, and other documents to the official ABA Google account. This solidified the ABA as more than just a trend started by schoolchildren as a joke. This was now a real movement.

The ABA is still in its early stages; we haven't even been around for a year yet. Our story is still unfolding, and you have the opportunity to be a part of it! Join us on our journey to eliminate brainrot and save the next generation. With every member we gain, we grow stronger, and with your help, we can make a real difference in the Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha culture.
