Interaction culture (common rules/rituals, trust, appreciation, dispute culture, democratic structures, ability to compromise). Work culture (reliability, diligence/accuracy of work, realistic self-assessment, ability to take criticism, ability to work in a team, willingness to perform) Responsibility culture (dealing responsibly with free space, taking responsibility for oneself and others, being able to stand up for or against something).
The pupils will stand up for their values and convictions and strengthen their civic competences by talking, discussing, arguing and fighting with people from all conceivable backgrounds. Active participation in social discourse on a broad level.
The pupils learn to select and use concepts to solve tasks and problems in subject-related application areas ("dealing with subject knowledge").
Abilities and skills of pupils to recognise scientific and socially relevant questions, to investigate them with experiments and other subject-specific methods in a hypothesis-guided way and to generalise results ("competence of gaining knowledge").
Communication and evaluation: Skills for analogue and digital research, documentation and presentation of scientific findings as well as skills for constructive, professional exchange.
In the course of the project, increasing private contacts between the pupils will lead to an increase in language competence but also in social competence.
This means that, on the one hand, subject-specific and personal skills are required for an appropriate exchange and, on the other hand, skills that lead to a weighing of opportunities and risks in a value-oriented judgement in the context of ethically relevant topics in open-ended discourses
