Cloud broker quality assurance, including certification by specification, verification and testing, and resource monitoring with failover adaptation;
Software Engineering and the Discovery Method for developing object-oriented systems;
Criticisms of the standard Unified Modeling Language, and proposals for better models and notations;
The type theory of object-oriented programming languages, using lambda calculus;
Speech recognition and language modelling to assess the severity of stuttering in children;
Phonetic decoding using techniques from computer vision, mimicking a phonetician's expertise.
