Bouncing off Walls
This is a series of solo guitar recordings I made in the 1980s, using two cassette tape recorders! The pieces vary in style and tone, with examples of classical, ragtime, blues, rock, and umm... experimental.
Instruments: Tony Simons plays a Gibson Les Paul Custom and an Ibanez RS-430. Equipment: Fender Pro Reverb combo, BOSS overdrive and chorus pedals, Ibanez analogue delay pedal, parametric EQ pedal, and two cassette tape recorders!
Other credits: Mark Hammond plays Fender Precision bass on "Opening Vistas".
Engineer: David Smiles digitally restored the 25-year old tape recordings and produced this collection, © 1983 and 2008.
