I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Houston.
My research interests lie at the intersection of dynamical systems and geometry. More specifically in homogeneous dynamics and translation surfaces.
Previously, I was a joint NSF and Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California San Diego in the Department of Mathematics. My grant number was DMS-2103136. Afterwards, I was a Stephen E. Warschawski Visiting Assistant Professor still at the University of California San Diego. I was mentored by Amir Mohammadi. I co-organized the UC San Diego Group Actions Seminar.
I received my PhD in 2021 at the University of Washington under the supervision of Jayadev Athreya.
