Anthem Ranch Pickleball Club Guest Policy
A summary of the Anthem Ranch Pickleball Club Guest Policy as it relates to both Tennis or Pickleball courts, as of 4/26/2022 is provided. The actual sections from the Anthem Ranch Community Association (ARCA) document follows the summary.
1. Guest passes are required by Guests for any use of the Recreational Facilities.
2. Residents must accompany all guests, including minors, to the courts and remain with them.
3. A Resident can bring up to three (3) guests per day to tennis or pickleball courts.
4. A maximum of 6 guest passes can be used per Dwelling Unit per day.
5. A Resident can use only one court with their guest(s).
6. Unsponsored guests or players, including non-Association league players, are not
permitted on the courts.
7. A Pickleball Club Member may bring one guest to Open Play.
7. If you are bringing a guest to the pickleball or tennis courts, they can sign in using the Guest Waiver book at the courts - no need to come to the Lodge first! Staff picks up the paper weekly and deducts the guest passes from the resident's account.” This Guest Waiver book is found in the kiosk between Tennis Court #2 and Tennis Court #3.

ASPEN LODGE and RECREATIONAL FACILITIES RULES, REGULATIONS, and POLICIES

IV. Guest Policy
A. Guest Passes
Residents can bring a limited number of Guests to the Aspen Lodge and Recreational Facilities each year. To that effect, each Dwelling Unit is allocated 25 free guest passes annually. Each time a Guest comes to the Aspen Lodge and/or uses the Recreational Facilities, the visit is deducted from the Dwelling Unit’s guest pass balance unless otherwise stated. However, when a Guest uses the Recreational Facilities more than once per day, only one visit is counted against the Dwelling Unit’s balance.
In the event that more guest passes are needed for a Dwelling Unit, its Resident may purchase 25 additional guest passes at a cost of $100. The maximum number of guest passes allowed per Dwelling Unit in any calendar year is 50.
Unused Guest passes expire annually or upon transfer of title of a Lot or upon the expiration of a lease agreement.
Unused Guest passes may not be transferred to another occupied Dwelling Unit or extended into the next calendar year. ,
B. Exemptions to Guest Passes
The following individuals are exempt from the use of guest passes:
1. Minor children attending scheduled Lifestyle children activities.
2. Minor children attending minor children pool hours on weekdays.
3. Guests accompanying a Resident for the sole purpose of touring the Aspen Lodge and Recreational Facilities.
4. Guests accompanying a Resident for the sole purpose of attending a ticketed event.
5. Individuals who attend private events.
6. Guests participating in scheduled tennis/pickleball match/league play (not practices).

B. Guest Attendance Rules
1. Guests must sign in at the Aspen Lodge on the Guest Register every visit. This has been modified for Tennis/Pickleball. See below.
2. Guest passes are required by Guests for any use of the Recreational Facilities,
3. Residents shall accompany their Guests when the Guests sign in at the Aspen Lodge.
4. Residents who do not remain with their Guests after the sign-in process must provide a contact number where they can be reached while their Guests use the Facilities.
5. During the outdoor pool season (Memorial Day to September 30), Residents must remain with their Guests at all times while guests use the indoor and outdoor pool areas.
6. Residents must remain with their Guests at all times while guests use any of the Recreational Facilities with the exception of the Trails and the indoor Aspen Lodge facilities.
7. A maximum of 6 guest passes can be used per Dwelling Unit per day.
8. Guests may attend classes at the Aspen Lodge only if the class is not full with Residents.
9. Guests may attend social events at the Aspen Lodge only if the event is not full or sold out by the 16th day of registration.
a. Exception: Single Residents may purchase one (1) Guest ticket before the 16th day of event registration.
D. Manager’s Role

J. Tennis & Pickleball Courts
These courts are private facilities of the Anthem Ranch Community Association (Association) for all Anthem Ranch residents and are regulated by the following rules:
Authorized Users
1. Anthem Ranch Residents
a. Any Anthem Ranch resident who holds a valid Activity Card may use the courts.
2. Guests
a. Anthem Ranch residents must use guest passes to allow their guest(s) entry to the courts. However, guest passes will not be required for:
i. Players who play for or against Anthem Ranch Tennis Club Teams in scheduled United States Tennis Association (USTA), Colorado Tennis Association (CTA), or World Team Tennis (WTT) matches (not practice).
ii. Players who play for or against the Anthem Ranch Pickle Ball Club teams in scheduled Pickle Ball league games, organized by the Pickle Ball Club (not practice).
iii. Paid instruction and lesson participants.

b. For guest use of the Tennis & Pickleball Courts, all Anthem Ranch residents must either:
1. Check-in at the Aspen Lodge with their guest to prior to entering the courts or
ii. Deliver the completed Guest Facility Daily Register to the Aspen Lodge front desk in advance of play.
Note: CCMC recently printed the following in a weekly email to residents (2022):
“If you are bringing a guest to the pickleball or tennis courts, they can sign in
using the quest waiver book at the courts - no need to come to the Lodge first!
Staff picks up the paper weekly and deducts the guest passes from the
resident's account.”
This guest waiver book is found in the kiosk between Tennis court #2 and Tennis court #3.
c. After item b. (above) is complete, guest pass authorization may be made at the front desk or by a phone call to the front desk.
1. Residents must accompany all guests, including minors, to the courts and remain with them.
2. Residents can bring up to three (3) guests per day.
3. Residents can use only one court with their guest(s).
4. Unsponsored guests or players, including non-Association league players, are not permitted on the courts.
5. The Association may charge a fee for outside guests/players and is the only entity that can do so.
6. Children 3 years and under are not allowed on the courts.
