This partnership has set a strong foundation in creating a systematic educational set up for artisan enablement in the different clusters being nurtured under the initiative. Thus, making an artisan well equipped in areas such as design education, business studies, brand building and digital media.

Partnership with Microsoft India Corporation Pvt Ltd wit Antaran is to support the ‘Textile Design & Research component’ in the selected clusters of Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Nagaland which aims to create self-employment opportunities to the local artisans. The Development of new textile designs and samples would generate better market connect opportunities while keeping the craft of clusters in focus for the Artisans nurtured under the initiative.

Partnership for Artisan Education between CRISIL Foundation and Antaran aims to bring artisans of Assam under a common classroom program in which existing artisans from CRISIL program will learn about various aspects of Design, Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Communication. This will be a multi-faceted program aiming to make weavers self-sustainable and wealth-generating members of the craft community.
