Welcome to Answerly. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Answerly mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App"), owned and operated by Michael Olaoye ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Answerly, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or use Answerly. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
Account Creation: Registration is mandatory to access and use Answerly. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Termination: We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Ownership: All rights, title, and interest in and to Answerly—including its source code, design, logos, brand elements, user interface, graphics, and features—are and will remain the exclusive property of Michael Olaoye.
Limited License: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download and use Answerly on your personal mobile device solely for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Billing: All purchases, paid subscriptions, and financial transactions are processed strictly through in-app purchases (via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store). We do not collect or store your billing card details directly.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.
Free Trials & Pricing Changes: We may offer free trials for premium features. We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing, features, or plans at any time without prior notice. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following notice provided by the app store platforms.
Refund Policy: All refund requests are subject strictly to the refund policies and terms of the Apple App Store (or relevant app store platform). We do not issue direct refunds. To request a refund, please contact Apple directly through your account purchase history.
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities while using Answerly:
Illegal Activity: Using the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
Reverse Engineering & Hacking: Attempting to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, source-code extract, or tamper with any part of the App.
Scraping & Data Mining: Using automated tools, bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract data, text, or content from the App without prior written consent.
Harassment & Abuse: Harassing, abusing, threatening, or impersonating other users, staff, or third parties.
System Interference: Introducing viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious code designed to disrupt, overload, or compromise the stability and security of our servers or networks.
Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts, systems, or databases.
(Note: While user-generated public posting features are not currently enabled in the App, users retain ownership of any feedback, prompts, or inputs provided to the App, granting us a non-exclusive license to host and process such content to operate the service.)
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, MICHAEL OLAOYE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MICHAEL OLAOYE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US FOR ACCESS TO THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.
Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution: Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels in the state or federal courts located in Texas, as required by the nature and jurisdiction of the claim.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted within the App or communicated through app store release notes. Your continued use of Answerly after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
