I will become a postdoctoral research associate at the University at Albany this October working with Prof. Mathias Vuille. I was previously a Lamont-Doherty Postdoctoral Fellow at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, Columbia University working with Prof. Jason Smerdon from 2023 to 2025. I am interested in understanding how and why the climate system varies across timescales and how these variations affect regional climate, ecosystems, and societies.
I received my B.S. in Geosciences from the University of Arizona in 2017 and my Ph.D. in Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences from Brown University in 2023 where I was advised by Profs. Tim Herbert and Baylor Fox-Kemper.
