The Energy-Efficient Computing and Hardware Systems (EECHS) Lab focuses on advancing next-generation computing systems through research in VLSI design, low-power digital circuits, and energy-efficient hardware accelerators. Our work explores hardware-software co-design methodologies for artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, with an emphasis on developing efficient, scalable, and deployable solutions for resource-constrained systems. We are interested in bridging the gap between algorithms and hardware to enable high-performance computing across a variety of application domains.
Interested in joining the EECHS lab research group?
Students interested in VLSI design, computer architecture, hardware accelerators, energy-efficient design, or AI/ML are encouraged to join the lab. Applicants should have completed at least two consecutive semesters of coursework at UOP or have taken any of my courses.
If you are interested in joining the research group, please reach out to Dr. Jha via email (ajha@pacific.edu) and include your resume, transcript, and a brief description of your research interests.
