Cubest is the way to the future ...

A CubeSat is a small, cube-shaped satellite that orbits the Earth. These satellites are built for scientific, educational, and research purposes. They are used by universities, companies, and space agencies. The design and use of cube satellites has become very popular in recent years. They play an important role in the development of modern space technologies.

ماهواره مکعبی (CubeSat) یک ماهواره کوچک مکعبی شکل است که به دور زمین می‌چرخد. این ماهواره‌ها برای اهداف علمی، آموزشی و تحقیقاتی ساخته می‌شوند. آنها توسط دانشگاه‌ها، شرکت‌ها و آژانس‌های فضایی مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرند. طراحی و استفاده از ماهواره‌های مکعبی در سال‌های اخیر بسیار رایج شده است. آنها نقش مهمی در توسعه فناوری‌های فضایی مدرن دارند.

The idea for CubeSat was conceived in 1999 by two professors from Stanford University and California Polytechnic State University, Jordi Puig-Swary and Bob Twiggs. Their goal was to create a simple, affordable, and standardized platform for space education and research that would allow students to gain real-world experience in designing and launching satellites.

ایده کیوبست در سال 1999 توسط دو استاد از دانشگاه استنفورد و دانشگاه ایلاتی پلی تکنیک کالیفرنیا، جوردی پویگ-سواری و باب تویگز، مطرح شد. هدف آنها ایجاد یک پلتفرم ساده، مقرون بصرفه و استاندارد برای آموزش و تحقیقات فضایی بود که به دانشجویان اجازه می دهد تجربه دنیای واقعی را در طراحی و پرتاب ماهواره کسب کنند.
