Postdoc offer (Location: Toulouse -- starting date: fall 2025)

We seek a candidate in statistics/machine learning with an excellent statistical and mathematical background attested by publications in top-level journals and/or top-level conferences.

The successful candidate will work together with members of the ANR BACKUP team. Examples of topics of interest include:

• Latent variables, mixture models

• Post-selection inference

• Kernels, kernel-based methods

• Bayesian nonparametrics, e.g.  contraction rates

• High-dimensional models, multiple testing

The duration of the postdoc is up to 2 years, to be spent at Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse, working with François Bachoc, Cathy Maugis-Rabusseau, and Pierre Neuvial. 

Salary: between 34k to 40k euros (gross) per year, depending on experience.

Starting date: fall 2025.
