Working at the OM-IS interface, my research examines how digital technologies, market platforms, and regulatory systems shape operational performance, risk, and sustainability.
I study how platform design, data governance, and policy environments influence organizational behavior and key operational outcomes. Across these settings, my work shows that technology-enabled systems can create meaningful efficiencies but also introduce new forms of vulnerability.
In my recent projects, I have been looking at how legislative signals shape crowdfunding activity, how board composition and data quality relate to cybersecurity and product recalls, and how environmental regulations and financing constraints influence firms’ sustainability and supply-chain decisions.
