Mercure d'Orléans

Mercure d'Orléans. (fl c1590–c1619). French lutenist and composer. He was probably unrelated to Jean Mercure. He may have been a musician in the service of Philippe-Emmanuel de Lorraine, Duke of Mercoeur de Nuremberg. A total of 24 lute pieces remain.
