Welcome to Mayhem Hangout VR (“Mayhem,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a virtual-reality multiplayer game operated by Another Devs.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, the purposes for which we process it, how we protect it, and what rights you have.
By accessing or using Mayhem Hangout VR you agree to this Policy and the Terms of Service.
This Policy takes effect November 14 2025. We may amend it periodically and will post any material changes with a new “Last Updated” date.
Another Devs acts as data controller for all information described in this document unless otherwise noted.

Mayhem Hangout VR is designed for players aged 13 and older.
The game contains mild profanity (for example “fuck,” “fucked up”) and user-generated interactions that may be unsuitable for younger children.
We collect limited account, technical, gameplay, and communication data needed to operate the service.
Voice communications may be processed for moderation and player-safety purposes.
All users worldwide have equal rights to access, correct, and delete their personal data.
We do not sell personal information.
Data is shared only with trusted processors such as Unity, PlayFab, and Photon, each bound by data-protection agreements.
Examples: username, display name, account ID, email (if provided), avatar, region, language.
Purpose: create/manage accounts, authenticate users, provide support.
Legal Basis: performance of contract; legitimate interest (security).
Examples: VR headset model, operating system, hardware identifiers, crash logs, performance metrics.
Purpose: ensure compatibility, debug issues, improve stability.
Legal Basis: legitimate interest (product maintenance).
Examples: session timestamps, progress, inventory, achievements, matchmaking records, movement telemetry.
Purpose: enable multiplayer functions and game saves.
Legal Basis: performance of contract.
Examples: live voice audio, text chat logs, metadata (who spoke to whom and when), automated transcripts.
Purpose: provide communication features and moderate misconduct.
Legal Basis: consent (where required); legitimate interest (safety).
Examples: PlayFab IDs, Photon session tokens, Unity analytics identifiers.
Purpose: operate core online infrastructure.
Legal Basis: performance of contract.
Examples: support tickets, attachments, moderation appeals.
Purpose: resolve issues and improve service.

Minimum age to play: 13 years.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Parents or guardians who believe their child has accessed the game should contact us immediately to remove the account.
Local laws requiring parental consent for minors will be respected and implemented where feasible.
Voice chat is transmitted through Photon or platform relays in real time.
Automated systems may analyze audio to detect policy violations. Flagged segments or transcripts may be temporarily stored and reviewed by authorized moderators.
Retention is limited to the minimum necessary (typically ≤ 180 days).
Users may mute others or disable voice chat in settings.
We rely on:
Unity Technologies for engine, diagnostics, and analytics.
PlayFab (Microsoft) for accounts and cloud saves.
Photon Engine for real-time multiplayer and voice relay.
Payment processors (for purchases).
Each acts under written data-processing terms and may only use information as instructed by us.
Personal data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption and access controls.
Backups are retained for business-continuity only.
Data may be transferred internationally to service providers under adequate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
Where required by law (e.g. EU GDPR), our legal bases include:
Performance of a contract (providing the game and support).
Consent (for voice recording and optional features).
Legitimate interests (product improvement, security).
Compliance with legal obligations.
Every user — regardless of location — has the following rights:
Access to a copy of personal data.
Correction of inaccuracies.
Deletion / Erasure of personal data.
Restriction of processing in specific cases.
Portability of certain data in machine-readable form.

Withdrawal of consent where processing relies on it.
Requests may be made at any time by contacting us via Discord or email.
Verification of identity is required to protect accounts.
All players worldwide may request account and data deletion without jurisdictional limitation.
Submit request through Discord or email.
Provide username, account ID, platform, and associated email (if any).
We verify ownership and process the request.
You receive confirmation upon completion.
Deletion removes access to the account and stored progress. We may retain only minimal records required for legal or security purposes.
We operate community guidelines and safety systems to protect users. Actions for violations may include warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban. Records of moderation actions may be retained for fraud and safety reasons.
We comply with lawful subpoenas and court orders. Disclosures are limited to information specifically requested and made only where legally obliged.
Our web components use essential cookies and analytics. In-game telemetry collects non-personal diagnostics to improve performance. Users can manage browser cookies through browser settings.
We may send non-promotional messages about updates or security notices. Marketing emails (if any) are sent only with consent and can be opted out of at any time. We do not sell data to advertisers.
All remaining sections of the original policy (Links to Third-Party Sites, International Transfers, Data Minimization, Anonymization, Changes to Policy, Contact Information, Regional Notices, DPO Details, Examples, FAQ, and Final Disclaimers) apply unchanged except that each reference to user rights now explicitly confirms global availability of deletion and access rights.
This document is intended to describe Another Devs’ data-handling practices and fulfill legal disclosure requirements. It does not create contractual obligations beyond the Terms of Service. If a conflict arises between this Policy and applicable law, the law will govern.
