The castle you find yourself within is only illuminated by the dying torchlight, the embers of the ignited sticks coming to their last hour. You climb and climb a circular staircase, higher and higher to its peak. Upon reaching the top, you find nothing in the tallest tower--that is, all but a singular box on a pedestal. Blooming like a flower, the top lifts itself, immersing the room in an ethereal light. And only then are the creations of Anorath, the fabled alchemist from fading fairy tales, revealed to you.
