Silent Prayer and Spoken Word Service with Colors
Anointed Pentecostal Ministries
310 East Oakland Park Blvd.
Wilton Manors, FL
When Two or more of you meet
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
The Still Small Voice
1 Kings (Elijah in the desert)
People who gather can choose their titles.
People who gather put their names on a label with their title so that each new person can address the experienced people and ask, “What do you do during the Silent Prayer and Spoken Word service?”
Dozens of colors are available with markers, crayons, pens and pencils.
People who gather choose a sheet of paper to add color and write words.
Bibles are available for each person to choose a verse or verses.
We each make a poster. The poster is placed on the walls.
While we work, we each take turns standing to read our verse.
The Reader will read the selections that begin and end the service.
List of selections
The readings are selected to promote positive thinking. The readings continue until someone stands and reads a favorite verse.
No sermon. No explanation for the verse. Let the Bible speak, let the words touch the hearts of the people in the room.
To help others find the verse, the verse address is given on a board. No announcements “The gospel of St. Luke, chapter 3, verse 3 to 5” NO!
TO promote the STILL SMALL VOICE, the Reader starts each service with the verse from Kings
