Hi! My name is Amber Evans. I have lived in the Brazos Valley for 7 years. I have four precious boys that range in age from 11 to 18. I started Anointed Abilities when I saw a need in the community for children to have positive experiences as a way to keep them out of trouble.
Many parents and grandparents need time to run errands, grocery shop, go to the doctor, or just have some me-time. Kids also need time to interact with their friends in a safe and fun environment.
Each week a different social skill is taught. We cover topics such as managing anger, effective communication, and how to deal with day-to-day struggles. Additionally, kids participate in break out team-building activities to build communication skills and learn to interact collaboratively.
Our program accepts behaviorally challenged children, special needs children, and everyone in between. Cost is $80 monthly or $25 per weekly session. Discounts are given for households that receive assistance and a sibling discount is applied. Payment methods accepted are Cash App and Venmo.
