The Battle of the Books is designed to enhance reading comprehension and keep reading stories fun all summer long. Books included on the reading lists have been carefully read and selected by literacy leaders across the nation. The books are selected for their high interest level, challenging vocabulary, reading levels and appropriate content. The books are purposefully selected to expose students to a variety of genres, quality authors, diverse races/cultures and historical eras.
Participation in the Battle of the Books is COMPLETELY optional!
