annunciation family groups plan for June event

The plan:

1. - Waruna, Sharon and Margaret give out labels as people enter, with Name and suburb of each person on the label, and give out one playing card for each family.  If spare after 1pm,  more cards can be given out.

2. - Waruna, please take photos throught out the event, espially promoting the places which have given me prices to give away.

3. - Annalynn setting up stuff for the shared lunch.

4. - May be grace - by father then can start eating.

5. - Have Bell to get peoples attention 

6. - All 2, 3, .......  K, A - get together and people talk about what ever they want to,  eg, how long they have come to parish,  what suburb they live in, etc

7. People get into Suites, spades hearts diamonds clubs.

8. Now find people in your suburb, or adjacent suburb if  there are less than 10 people in your suburb. 

9. Come up with a name for your group and choose a leader.

10. A Family Group:

·        consists of 8 to 12 families or households – a mixture of singles, couples and families from the same nearby area of the leaders.  

·        meets around 6 to 8 times a year to have fun, share things in common and to provide support to each other.

·        Are as simple as getting together to chat over a shared meal, or going for a walk as a group to morialta conservation park first falls or around thorndon park. These group meetings could also be held at the Annunciation Church Hall, or at someone’s house. Everyone just brings a plate of food to share.

·        has group leaders who are aware of the new or vulnerable people in the group and are knowledgeable or available to arrange support for those people if they needed it, for example families who were about to have babies, the elderly, migrants, people in hardship and so on.
