The world has changed! We mourn the loss of more than half a million family, friends, and colleagues as we enter the second year of this Covid-19 pandemic. This pandemic has disproportionately affected our community, and the isolation imposed on us has created silent epidemic of mental health crisis that many in our community have struggled to fight alone. In 2021 we are slowly emerging from this tragic time. We choose to participate in the Walk for Life to raise awareness for those we have lost, those still in the struggle, and those holding on to hope for the future.

June 19th, we step into our future! We chose to celebrate the resilience of our community. When mandates to wear protective facemasks were put in place we celebrated our community's entrepreneurial spirit as young people used traditional cultural patterns to express their unique style. When restaurants closed to protect the public our community mobilized, retooled their operations, and created new menus better suited for delivery or curbside pick-up. When the overburdened healthcare system failed our communities, we organized social media, learned to use zoom for virtual doctor's visits, and fought misinformation that would impede our efforts to access lifesaving vaccines.
Miles to go before we sleep! We remain optimistic about the future and vigilant in our continued fight against inequality in both the justice and medical systems. We seek resources to support education and investments in entrepreneurial ideas that ignite, excite, and benefit the community.
See you at the finish line! Now more than ever we need to lift our voices and show solidarity as a community committed to making a better world for our children.

Dad Kronicles mission is to create a solid platform for the youth of our community. At Dad Kronicles we count ourselves blessed to be able to bring engaging programming to teach and mentor the young scholars of our community.
As I reflect on my own life’s journey and identify the missing pieces I vow to clear the path for the children of my community. The Dad Kronicles network of fathers, mentors, and professionals has created a road map which develops character, encourages education, physical conditioning, ignites creativity, and provides the tools needed for entrepreneurial success. We welcome others in the community to link their mission with us for successes. Contributions of time, energy, and financial support are valued, because caring for "the village" is a shared responsibility.
Dad Kronicles operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes throughout the state of Texas. Specifically, DAD KRONICLES, Inc. works to raise awareness among men on the importance of a daily commitment to being the best dads. As providers we are charged to establish the infrastructure for building economic, social, and community programs for all under-served youth and parents.
Our flagship mentoring platform is the Dad Kronicles Chess Club. Through this program we demonstrate and improve Critical Thinking by teaching the children the importance of looking at the whole board, thinking steps ahead of the problem, and anticipating the possible traps life may throw your way. We provide one to one interventions in the lives of the children we serve to strengthen relationships and earn trust. Financial independence is fostered through entrepreneurial programs. We encourage practical business skills through hands-on activities and try to connect to the child’s passion. We encourage ambition, and issue a mandate of communal responsibility through community service. Our grass-root approach provides relationships, networks and personal bonds of friendship that can last a life-time.
The men serving Dad Kronicles understand a good mentor must first be mentored. We know the foundation in place today will serve tomorrow’s dads and our community well into the future.

For over thirty years WYF has worked tirelessly to introduce youth at risk to the possibilities that life has to offer. We are grateful for the resources and network they have so generously opened up for our shared goals.
