HI all, I will be in Victoria in September, but I am giving a lecture in Berlin on 9 July, followed by a week as a visiting professor at Koc University in Istanbul and a week of teaching in Yaounde, Cameroon, so July is all booked up for me.
Maybe we can meet in September, I am at UVIC from 13-16 September.

I’ve been trying to spread the word to our 1969 Grads through Facebook and word of mouth. I think we have a lot more interest this year as we’re getting closer to our 50th in 2019!!!

Would love to go to the reunion and to keep in-touch with some folks from school, but do not think that July will work for me.
This is when our lodge will be opening for the season.
My brother used to live at Cowichan so I know it fairly well, but that was quite a number of years ago. I just loved that area, and life on the island. Now that most of my relations have died, it does not have the draw for me. Life here is very different. -39 yesterday, but today it has warmed up to -21 which is much better, but there is a wind blowing.
Tonight I am out delivering a Northern Lights Tour – who would have known this is what I would have ended up doing?
I got married in 1966 to Jim Peterson. Jim died almost 10 years ago and I operate our lodge and tour company with my kids, Chad and Amanda. I have lived in Yellowknife for over 40 years.
Anyway, please add me to your mailing list as perhaps I could make a quick trip to the island one day.
