To summarize our, Annotated Geoguessr ('AG'), data privacy commitment in plain English:
- We do not display advertising though our extension.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties to advertise or market their services or products to you.
- We do not host third-party cookies or trackers that would allow those third parties to track you on our site to advertise or market their products or services to you.
- AG only collects information for purposes of authenticating users who wish to create content. Other than for the purposes of authenticating annotation creators and associating their content, no user information is collected, stored, or transmitted by AG.
- If you ever want to be forgotten, simply email us at brendanwebdev@gmail.com and all your data will be completely removed from our system.
Here are the categories of information we collect or process:
Account information when you sign up for an account, which includes your email address, password, name, and email preferences. If you sign up through a third-party service, like Google or Apple, we’ll collect the information from them that you authorize.
We use your information for the following specific purposes:
Account – We collect, and associate with your account, information you give us like your name, email address, phone number, payment info, and physical address. Some of our services let you access your accounts and your information with other service providers.
Services - When you use our Services, we store, process and transmit your files and information related to them (specifically, the annotations you make are stored for later use.)
AG uses the following third-party services
Google – if you choose to log into AG using your Google account, your login will be authenticated by Google. You can review Google’s Privacy Policy for use of your Google account here; and update or revoke your Google Permissions at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Does AG Collect Personal Information from Children?
AG does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we determine we have collected personal information from a child younger than 13 years of age, we will take reasonable measures to remove that information from our systems. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any personal information through our products. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage and to help enforce this Privacy Policy by making sure that their children do not provide personal information through our products.
Please note that in some jurisdictions, the age of digital consent is older than 13. If you are in one of those jurisdictions, you must be at least that age to use our products.
