Happy New Year 2026!
I have been quiet on my blog since my Mom's passing. It has been very surreal and sad. Mom was 88 and lived a fulfill life. I was blessed to have her as long as I did. She passed at home and took care of her house up to almost the very end of her life. I reflect back on how things were getting difficult as she lost her vision in 2025. This was a spiraling effect on her quality of life. I was blessed to be there with her at the end. We had made plans to go to Florida and try a warm holiday season. It was almost cancelled with Mom's health declining. In the long run after she passed, we decided to go away from Christmas eve through the weekend after. The weather was spectacular and really was so comfortable. We visited family and walked miles to sightsee. It was a super busy place in St Augustine, but our Air B&B was in such an awesome location. The neighborhood is located across the Bridge of Lions on Anastasia Island. Davis Shores has a long history dating back to the 1700's. The homes were lovely! The Air B&B was gorgeous and had everything we needed. There is so much to see and do that we will make it back hopefully within the next 2 years. My plans for January are working on projects for the shop I vend with and upcoming events. I will most likely not be working as many as last year. I would love to find other options for show my work and will keep up the blog for updates. For now I have kept some photos of 2025 and plan to update as my blogs will continue. I hope to update again in a few weeks.
Stay warm and healthy!
All the best!

2/19/26
It has been a bit since I posted a blog. Winter this year really showed its face! The candle shop is now open and I have some items there. I had 1 event on 2/7. It was not a good day to be out and things were slow. I have to larger events in the nex 2 weeks. I hope people will be in the mood to shop. Above are photos of a snow machine tour we did last weekend. Back country tour in Vermont. This was quite the adventure! What a day it was cold but stunning. Very memorable and a great way to get through a very long season. Hope to post updates in the next 2 weeks with results of my events.
All the best!

My 2nd event of the year. 2/21 Cheerleading championship competion. Nice day to be out. Sales were slow. Early season may not be the best but nice to see others and networking!!
New item trial! Painted journals
Happy Easter!
Time flies! The past month has been very quiet from a vending perspective. Life has been so busy otherwise. This year will there will be a bit more selective with selecting events. 4 of the 5 events so far have been less than successful. Luckily, I have a vendor space that has been consistent since last August. Looking forward to traveling to Bristol Bazaar on 4/16. I enjoy this guest vendor space and it is a little gem for me! I will post again to update in a few weeks.
God bless!

Another month gone by!
Flowers are blooming and cool rains make everything look so fresh. This has certainly been a slower time for sales. Many new ideas and designs coming. Todays event at the Steaming Tender was cut short due to high winds. My goal going forward is to bring less delicate glass and more sturdy items to vend outside. (Lost 2 glasses today). Have a great week!

Cottage Melts Candle and Wax Shoppe items!
Good morning,
With great sadness, Mom passed away on Friday late pm 11/7/25. She was not able to recover from her recent illness. Along with her primary physician, we made the decision to place with hospice. Beacon hospice welcomed her and were wonderful. She was home and kept comfortable. This allowed such peace and dignity for her. I am ever grateful to all of the nurses, home health aide, chaplain, and service.
I had to miss a few events but will be at Barry school in Chicopee and Shortstop Bar and Grille in Wesfield next weekend 11/15 and 11/16!
I am working on her service this week!
Take care!
Good evening,
It has been a few weeks since the last blog. Things have been very busy with regard to Mom's passing. Shown are some of the flowers sent to us! So pretty!! I was able to attend 3 events. 2 were good. People were actually shopping and buying gifts. I was happy to be busy after a difficult month. There are 3 events left for the season and fingers crossed they have a good crown shoppers. Hard to believe 2025 is almost over. Life is a bit lost for me but I will still be focused on what 2026 will hold! January will be time to do updates on the website and design new price tags for the items. Maybe new ideas more to come!
Have a wonderful week!
